NATIONAL PEANUT FESTIVAL 2009 POSTER CONTEST RULES
1. Poster contest will be open to children in the third, fourth and fifth grades.
2. Posters must be 14 inches by 22 inches, which is one-half vertical sheet of poster board. FULL SIZE POSTERS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. We do not have sufficient space for displaying full size posters.
3. Any type of medium (chalk, paint, crayons, pencils, charcoal, felt markers or any combination) may be used.
4. The theme of the poster must be: “Your Passport to Fun”
5. Posters cannot be returned. They may be picked up on Sunday afternoon, November 8th, at the fairgrounds between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. Posters not picked up will be destroyed. We cannot be responsible for lost posters.
6. On the front of each poster in the lower right hand corner must be the following information:
NAME, GRADE AND NAME OF SCHOOL
Posters without this information on it will be disqualified.
7. There will be three winners selected from each grade level:
First Place ……………………………….. $40.00 Second Place …………………………….. $25.00 Third Place ………………………………. $15.00
8. Winning posters from each school are due to Nita Lee at Hidden Lake Elementary School by Monday, October 26, 2009. Judging will be on Friday, October 30, 2009.
